The article provides a framework for Information System (IS) quality management. In order to perform up to high expectations set by the advent of Information Technology (IT), IS function must develop an intimate understanding of the expectations of its varied clientele. Total IS quality is a multidimensional concept, which enables to deliver quality results of IS function. While IS quality is a general concept, there may be significant differences between organizations in terms of how quality is defined. Different organizations may emphasize different dimensions of IS quality. Environmental factors, such as industry type and the nature of competition, affect the importance of IS in the organization. The article illustrates six top-level dimensions of IS quality, which include infrastructure quality, software quality, data quality, information quality, administrative quality and service quality. An integrative IS quality framework will include voice of multiple shareholders and understanding processes and combines these six dimensions, has been discussed in the article.
