Resumen
The article focuses on cognitive modeling for games and animation

The article discusses the possibility of building personal tools by computer programming. Most of personal computer (PC) users employ programs written by others. The article argues that the fault lies, not with PC users, but with computer science, particularly with computer-human interaction (CHI). CHI researchers have not been able to evolve systems enabling novices to program computers as of now. However, two developments point to the realization of this concept. Stagecast Creator is a software program that allows visual simulations, wherein the rules are programmed by demonstration, and resulting programs are displayed as visual before-after rules. There is no doubt that faster computers can make it practical to run such simulations as part of the standard interface. The Creator approach embodies visual domain, direct manipulation, interactive response, programming by demonstration, and execution control. With the approach adopted by Creator, end users can program on a computer any subject matter in which they are interested.
