RESUMEN
Magnetohydrodynamic forced and free convection
flow of an electrically conducting viscous incompressible fluid past a vertical
flat plate with uniform heat flux in the presence of a magnetic field acting
normal to the plate that moves with the fluid has been studied near the leading
edge of the plate. the coupled non-linear equations
are solved by the method of superposition for the values of the Prandtl number
ranges from 0.01 to 10.0. The velocity and the temperature profiles are
presented graphically and the values of the wall shear-stress as well as the
heat transfer rate are presented in tabular form showing the effect of the
buoyancy force and the applied magnetic field. to show
the accuracy of the present method some typical values are compared with the
available one.
