Management information system (MIS) commands continuous education by its participants to remain up to date. One way to meet this exigency is through the use of Internet based virtual learning environment. Totally Web-based education (TWE) is a familiar type of virtual learning environment, which requires no classroom instructions. TWE courses are necessary at many instances, and will be more pervasive with every passing year. The recent evolution in the delivery of educational courses has lead to a widespread debate on TWE. This scenario has lead to establishment of relationships between individual personality types and learning performances. Researchers have found that characteristics like stability, openness, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and extraversion are all related to some type of learning performance. Web-based courses have inherent problems in settings where users lack abilities required to take full advantage of the medium.
