Resumen
This article focuses on emergence of wearable computers. With new technology, a few pioneers, some media coverage, and a couple of start-ups, this has been an emerging industry. But its rather difficult to predict in the future what is wearable and what's not. The author tries to define the future and the lifestyle he wants to design for himself. He assumes that in future, if he remain until 2048, with advancements in medicine and a little help from Medicare, his health should be good enough to carry on a limited socially interactive life-style. Technology will exists in a wearable infrastructure made up of technological hybrids and discrete cascading multimodal user interfaces. It is healthy, comfortable, informative, self-navigating, connected, and untethered. According to the author change to ultra-networked world of ubiquitous computing will take place in the future. With this cellular phones will be more powerful, networks will be self-assembled and useful network services will be offered.
